I write to understand things better.
Most of what interests me sits between disciplines: language, philosophy, culture, and the systems we build to make sense of the world. I’m drawn to small details that reveal larger patterns, like how one sound changes across languages, how an idea mutates over time and how rules quietly shape behaviour.
This blog is a space for short-form essays, reflections and ongoing experiments in thinking out loud. Some pieces are carefully worked through; others are provisional. The goal is to follow ideas far enough that something new becomes visible.
I don’t write to optimise for speed, trends, or virality. I write slowly because writing is the best tool I know for noticing what I would otherwise miss.
If you enjoy essays that connect unlikely things, like ancient texts and modern brands, linguistic quirks and social systems – you’re in the right place!
